High Rope Challenge Course
Guess who was late? NOT ME ANYMORE. Yi Lin was late because she overslept. I reached Bishan Juntion 8 at 6.30AM sharp and met Xin Xia and Kale first. So we waited for Yi Lin at the bus interchange when we saw Ms. Cynthia Tan (OC) and she joined us in waiting for the guest of honor. By the time Yi Lin reached, it was already 7.15AM so we hired two cabs.
(I need to do revision now so just a rush post!!!)
We saw other schools with a huge squad. And I was starving the whole morning. I skipped breakfast and I was feeling so weak already. Almost wanted to faint.
They wore Jellicoe shirt and I was the only one wearing Harwood shirt. Kale said I wanted to blend in with the Catholic High boys. Lol!
Ms. Tan and us in the bumboat. Only four people from the secondary four squad, we are the only survivors.

At Pulau Ubin’s jetty, with the two senior NCOs, Neveon and Jun Ru

Chiaw Sian from Peirce Secondary School. I have another one with Ivy but I think I don’t look good in it. Haha.

I thought we will be taking the cab in to the campsite. (Do they call cab in ubin? Ok vans or whatever) Wishful thinking I know. So we walked to the campsite and it was quite tiring because we had to catch up with the Catholic High boys. On our way there, the only activity in our mind was the Flying Fox
Our aim is just to play the Flying Fox.

With harness and helmet on.

I seriously have no idea what this element is. They call it the DD. I only managed to get up to the third log and Kale, fourth. She could not reach the fifth log and I also could not reach the fourth log so we gave up. We were the last group and we just wanted to play the Flying Fox.
“Kale, I super hungry leh. Why not ask the CI bring us some food, we eat here, relax then try to climb again?”
“Sian la, give up together want or not?”
“Never mind la, we reach our target (third log) already, haha!”

Flying Fox! But there was a loooooonnnnggggg queue. We had nothing to do except taking pictures
The pictures are with Ms. Tan and I highly doubt we can get it from her anytime soon.

Flying Fox was damn shiok! Screamed for three seconds and opened our eyes. The campsite looked so beautiful
After the Flying Fox, we had our lunch. The very first time NPCC food tastes so delicious. Or maybe because I am really hungry. I finished every single bit of rice. And we were supposed to have our lunch at somewhere at the back but Ms. Tan told us to move over to the BBQ area (I think it is la!) because it faces the sea and there’s better scenery there
While at the back, you will have to feed mosquitoes.
In this picture, I was facing the sea, enjoying the scenery, haha.

I don’t know what this is and I don’t care. Haha because played Flying Fox already. I realize I am still on Flying Fox topic.
There was a lightning alert before we can do the portable water thing. So we had to stay indoor.

The lightning alert may not be a bad thing after all. We had so much fun under the shelter! Like Neveon taking pictures of _______ without the flash off! That was embarrassing but entertaining
Jun Ru and I have a common topic which is shit. We cannot shit in public. More jokes about it but I am not going to type it out.
SUNBURNT.

I was trying to avoid Yi Lin from hitting me. She brought her violence all the way to Pulau Ubin!

The Raffles Institution cadets wanted to take a group picture and I took it for them.
“You all want portrait or landscape ah?”
“Eh wait ah, one more one more!!!”
“Okay! One more!!!”
“Wait ah, one more!!!”
“Eh wait wait wait, one more one more!!!”
“Eh wait wait wait, I change angle!!!”
“Eh wait ah, another angle!!!”
“Wait wait wait!!! One more from there”
“Wait!!!!!! One last one!”
“Okay wait! One last one”
And so, it was their turn to take a picture for us. They were imitating me! Haha so we got face cramps after so many shots.

The Presbyterian High School cadets tried taking some jumping shots so the RI boys tried that too! We joined in the fun as well!
Girls unit on the left and boys unit on the right!

Then took the cab out to the jetty, took bumboat back, met Zheng Qian at the hawker centre, met Jimmy, had dinner, took bus 59 home and blah blah blah…

YOU MADE ME MISS HRC!
Hahahaha, anyway good luck for your exams, hope I’m not too late
Sorry for late reply Darrel! Was away from blogging
